Many security aware users might be in out there but still I wanted to do my part to spread the awareness.
So, Whenever you receive such a mail the bottom line is this " NEVER EVER OPEN THE LINKS IN EMAILS ". Yes , you should never do that. This is a phishing attack.
And ofcourse the sender of this mail is a very poor guy .... he didnt targeted the SBI users but all... hoping that It will reach them.. Another fact to proove that he is a fool is that the link is showing 6te.net... which is completely different from that of the original bank . There are occassions in which you see the exact web address as that of your bank web address , but dont be trapped by such urls always check at the bottom of the browser to which locations the url really points to... I said check the url but not the site... In any case dont ever open the links.
NOTE: Dont ever use the drop down in your browser also .. . now a days there are browser pluggins which are farwarding to phishing sites ... users are installing them unknowingly..
Thanks !!
