Today our topic of discussion is Antiviruses. I do have a file which is a variant of a virus I mean to say its a infected file . Any AV that is a good one should classify it as an infected file. Now lets see the results. For the purpose of experimentation I have choosen the online scanner http://www.garyshood.com/virus/ .
http://www.garyshood.com/virus/ is a web based service which will scan files for infections . It uses many AVs to scan the file and gives results from each AV in plain text ,understandable format.
Lets see the results of my experiment.

Clamav--> infected
F-Prot-->infectedAntiVir-->infectedBitDefender-->cleanAVG -->cleanSo see the results and decide for yourself !!'!Caution : if the file is shown as clean doesn't mean to be AV is guilty . It might be the case that we should look at no of false positives and false negatives to decide .
