Some insight into algorithms used by google..

Today we are going to discuss about some features of algorithms used by google .

Whenever you have logged into your gmail account you might have seen the advertisements in your mail from google. Did you get my point ?? .. Yeah yes just log in to your account now and there would be some advertisements from google in your window .. For example , lets say you are from india  and basically all indian users views pages in english only.So the advertisements which were shown to you would be in english only.  The point here is that how google is trying to keep updated with your current location. 

Yes , you might think that google would be asking for location while we are registering our account. Yes you are right  But if you think thats the only way google does is incorrect. Google has many strategies here. Now I explain the other side of it.

Lets say your registered location is India. And you have been logging into gmail from indian location for the last one year. So obviously all the advertisements would be in english . This is expected. Now lets suppose , some how , you are loggin to your gmail account from some other location ,lets say Hong Kong, as is the case with me. Now for some time ( for few logins) you can see the english advertisements only. Later on the pattern changes . You can see advertisements in Chinese also . thats the point. Google keeps track of all your history !!!.

Once that happened ,  even if you are loggin from an indian location , you can still see advertisements in Chinese .. Thats great right ??
